Job Description

Senior Enterprise Partner Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Partner Success Manager based in the United States.

The Senior Enterprise Partner Success Manager will own a strategic portfolio of enterprise education partners, helping complex institutions accelerate adoption, realize value, and identify opportunities for long-term growth. You’ll serve as the primary relationship owner for approximately 10–15 high-potential accounts, building trusted relationships with senior advancement leaders and key decision-makers. The role combines strategic account management, executive engagement, commercial growth, and deep knowledge of higher-education organizations. You’ll develop tailored account strategies, uncover expansion opportunities, and build compelling business cases that help partners invest in additional solutions. Working across Sales, Product, Support, and Partner Success, you’ll remove obstacles and ensure a consistently high-quality partner experience. As the enterprise motion evolves, you’ll also help define scalable best practices and shape how strategic accounts are managed going forward.

Accountabilities:
  • Own a portfolio of approximately 10–15 enterprise accounts selected for their growth potential, complexity, and strategic importance, serving as the primary relationship owner from onboarding through long-term success.
  • Build and maintain trusted executive relationships with AVPs, VPs of advancement, and other senior stakeholders, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor rather than a transactional vendor contact.
  • Develop and execute customized account growth strategies based on each institution’s organizational structure, priorities, budget cycles, current product footprint, and future needs.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion across product lines and capabilities, working closely with business development teams to develop opportunities and support successful expansion.
  • Build compelling internal business cases that help partner organizations understand the value of additional solutions and secure alignment from finance, leadership, and other decision-makers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of each partner’s organizational dynamics, priorities, political landscape, budgets, and decision-making processes to anticipate needs proactively.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Support, and other internal teams to remove obstacles, resolve issues, and ensure the partner experience reflects the strategic importance of each account.
  • Monitor and report on account health, growth opportunities, expansion pipeline, forecasts, and other key performance indicators to Partner Success leadership.
  • Assess when portfolio growth warrants additional support and help build the case for hiring and managing up to two junior Partner Success Associates.
  • Delegate appropriate day-to-day product support while remaining focused on strategic account planning, executive relationships, and long-term growth.
  • Contribute to the development of enterprise account management strategies, processes, and best practices that can be scaled across the broader organization.
  • Serve as a model for the future enterprise partner success function, helping establish how complex strategic relationships should be managed and grown.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience working with complex higher-education institutions, particularly within advancement, fundraising, development, or related functions, with a solid understanding of organizational structures, budget cycles, and institutional priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic enterprise accounts and build long-term relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Proven experience developing account strategies, identifying expansion opportunities, managing growth pipelines, and forecasting account performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate opportunities into compelling business cases that resonate with finance, executive leadership, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional executive relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish genuine trust and operate as a strategic advisor to senior leaders.
  • Ability to quickly develop deep product expertise and translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, technology platforms, or complex solution-based products, with the ability to navigate deeper product and technical conversations when required.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, Product, Support, Business Development, and Partner Success teams.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, with experience using account health, pipeline, revenue, adoption, and expansion metrics to guide decisions.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple complex accounts while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and strong ownership of outcomes.
  • Leadership potential and the ability to delegate effectively and develop junior team members as the portfolio expands.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment while actively participating in team meetings, company-wide gatherings, and in-person partner engagements.
Benefits:
  • Remote-first position available to candidates based in the United States.
  • Flexible distributed-work environment with the ability to work from the location of your choice.
  • Opportunities to participate in company-wide and team-specific onsite gatherings throughout the year.
  • Access to a dedicated office space in Washington, DC for employees who prefer to work in person.
  • Regular team meetups, partner visits, and company retreats.
  • Opportunity to work with mission-driven organizations focused on expanding access to quality, affordable education.
  • Meaningful ownership and autonomy within a growing organization where individual contributions have a visible impact.
  • Opportunity to shape enterprise partner success strategy and influence how strategic accounts are managed as the organization scales.
  • Collaborative environment that values diversity, inclusion, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Exposure to senior leaders and complex enterprise organizations within the higher-education sector.
  • Opportunity to contribute to innovative technology and AI-focused initiatives supporting the future of education and fundraising.
