VP, Corporate Payments Product

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Corporate Payments Product based in the United States.

This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on shaping the future of corporate payments within a global commerce and financial technology environment.
You will help define product direction and translate complex business and payment needs into scalable solutions for organizations.
The role calls for strong strategic judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead product priorities in a fast-evolving payments landscape.
You will work across business, technology, and product stakeholders to drive innovation and deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.
Success will require balancing long-term product vision with disciplined execution, market needs, and operational complexity.
As a Vice President, you will operate with significant influence, helping establish priorities and guide investment across the corporate payments portfolio.

Accountabilities
  • Define and advance the strategic vision and product direction for corporate payments, aligning product priorities with customer needs and broader business objectives.
  • Lead the development and evolution of corporate payment products, identifying opportunities to improve customer experiences, capabilities, scalability, and commercial performance.
  • Translate market trends, customer insights, competitive dynamics, and emerging payment technologies into actionable product strategies and investment priorities.
  • Partner closely with technology, engineering, operations, sales, finance, risk, compliance, and other business stakeholders to bring product initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Establish clear product priorities, roadmaps, success measures, and business cases while balancing innovation, customer value, operational requirements, and return on investment.
  • Champion a customer-centric product culture, ensuring corporate payment solutions address complex business needs and deliver measurable value.
  • Provide executive-level leadership and communication around product strategy, progress, opportunities, risks, and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize and expand payment capabilities as the corporate payments ecosystem continues to evolve.
  • Lead through ambiguity and complexity, making informed decisions and building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Help strengthen the organization’s position as an innovative provider of payment solutions for businesses operating across different markets and geographies.
Requirements
  • Significant senior-level experience in product management, product strategy, or a closely related leadership function within payments, financial technology, banking, or commerce.
  • Deep understanding of corporate payments and the complexities involved in designing, launching, and scaling payment products.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish product vision, develop strategic roadmaps, prioritize investments, and deliver products that generate meaningful customer and business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate opportunities, build compelling business cases, and connect product decisions to measurable results.
  • Proven experience influencing and collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders across technology, operations, commercial, risk, and other functions.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to translate complex customer and market needs into clear product strategies.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, global organization and navigate competing priorities with sound judgment.
  • A track record of leading innovation and adapting product strategies in response to changing market conditions and emerging technologies.
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire teams, create alignment, and drive execution across organizational boundaries.
