About This Position
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR professional to support and execute core People & Culture operations across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a consistent, compliant, and people-first employee experience.
Key areas of ownership include HR operations and employee relations, payroll and timekeeping administration, benefits and compensation support, performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and HR data reporting.

Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTS
HR Operations & Employee Relations
• Support employees with HR-related questions and requests, escalating complex issues to the HR Director as appropriate.
• Promote a respectful, conflict-free workplace by supporting HR programs that enhance engagement, morale, and team cohesion.
• Model and reinforce professional workplace standards, supporting a culture free from gossip, drama, or behaviors that detract from morale and team cohesion.
Payroll, Timekeeping & PTO Administration
• Administer payroll, time clock management, PTO tracking, and holiday calendars, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Support employees with payroll- and compensation-related questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Employee life cycle & Offboarding Support
• Support offboarding processes to ensure compliant, well-documented employee exits.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support the people and culture department with initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Assist with benefits enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries.
• Support administration of performance-based incentive programs as needed.
• Maintain the compensation structure and make increases and adjustments.
Policy, Compliance & Documentation
• Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Stay informed on changes to employment laws and HR best practices to ensure continued compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed, stored, and audit-ready.
Performance Management & HR Support
• Organize and support performance review cycles, including scheduling, documentation, and system setup.
• Assist managers with evaluation processes and employee development documentation.
HR Metrics, Systems & Data Security
• Assist with gathering, analyzing, and reporting HR metrics related to turnover, attendance, and engagement.
• Maintain integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data within the HRIS.
• Follow strict data security and privacy protocols and internal data-handling standards.
Engagement, Communication & Culture Support
• Support internal employee communications, including weekly newsletters and firm updates.
• Assist with employee engagement efforts, team-building activities, recognition initiatives, and the culture committee.
• Contribute to fostering a workplace culture aligned with the firm’s purpose, values, and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist, or similar HR role.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity); strong understanding of timekeeping and records management.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable, service-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
