This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People and Culture Consultant based in Canada.
This is a hands-on, client-facing HR consulting role focused on solving complex people challenges across a diverse portfolio of organizations.
You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting them through the full employee lifecycle including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR policy development.
The role offers significant variety, with exposure to different industries including private, public, and non-profit sectors.
You will contribute to meaningful projects such as workplace investigations, leadership development initiatives, and strategic HR advisory work.
A strong emphasis is placed on building trusted relationships and delivering practical, people-centered HR solutions.

- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to client leaders across multiple industries, providing practical guidance on day-to-day people and culture matters.
- Support employee relations activities including conflict resolution, performance management, and interpretation of employment legislation.
- Manage and support recruitment processes from job posting and sourcing through to interviews, selection, and reference checks.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks tailored to client needs.
- Contribute to workplace investigations and sensitive employee issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with internal consultants on client projects, HR initiatives, and broader organizational development work.
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation including employment standards, human rights, and occupational health and safety frameworks in Canada.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting or multi-client environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to tone and professionalism.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive workplace situations with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Collaborative, approachable, and highly accountable working style.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and support leaders effectively.
- Competitive salary range ($80,000 – $105,000 CAD).
