Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Business Operations (New Products) in Canada. The role is with Jerry.ai.
This is a high-ownership, zero-to-one business operations role focused on incubating and scaling new product lines from early concept through full market launch. You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, analytics, and execution, working in a fast-paced environment where ideas are rapidly tested, validated, and shipped. The role blends analytical rigor with entrepreneurial execution, requiring you to deeply understand customer behavior, identify market opportunities, and translate insights into tangible products. You will initially embed within existing product teams to learn internal systems and product development workflows before taking full ownership of launching and scaling a new business vertical. A significant part of the role involves hands-on work across research, experimentation, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and design. This is a highly autonomous position where you act as the “mini-CEO” of a new product line, shaping both strategy and execution end-to-end.
- Lead the end-to-end incubation of new business lines, from ideation and validation through to launch and scaling.
- Embed within existing product teams to learn product development processes, customer research methods, and prototyping workflows.
- Conduct deep market research, data analysis, and experimentation to identify high-potential opportunities.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured plans, product requirements, and executable roadmaps.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and analytics teams to build, test, and iterate on new products.
- Own performance analysis and optimization of early-stage products, using data to guide iteration and decision-making.
- Build and eventually scale dedicated teams to support new business verticals as they mature.
- 4+ years of experience in management consulting (preferably MBB), investment banking, or high-growth startup environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently run complex data analysis and interpret business performance metrics.
- Proven ability to solve ambiguous, unstructured problems and turn them into actionable execution plans.
- Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and executives in fast-paced environments.
- Strong systems thinking and first-principles approach to understanding markets and customer behavior.
- Highly comfortable with ownership mindset, operating independently with minimal direction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate insights, strategy, and trade-offs.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $170,000 to $220,000 USD, plus equity opportunities.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and families.
- Paid time off, parental leave, and retirement savings plans (401K or RRSP depending on location).
- High-ownership environment with full autonomy over new business creation and execution.
- Fast execution culture with rapid iteration cycles and minimal bureaucracy.
- Opportunity to directly build and scale new business lines within a high-growth AI-powered company.
- Strong exposure to senior leadership and high-impact strategic decision-making.
