As a Select Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will oversee an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring effective client support, policy management, and service delivery while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison for assigned clients, providing responsive and professional account management.
- Manage day-to-day servicing activities, renewals, new business support, and ongoing client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, internal teams, implementation partners, and offshore support teams.
- Ensure all account servicing activities follow established procedures, quality standards, and service expectations.
- Maintain accurate client and policy records within agency management systems, including documentation, tasks, communications, and attachments.
- Prepare and deliver monthly account recaps and required reporting for agency partners.
- Manage retention efforts across assigned accounts, including service center, non-service center, and surplus lines business where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for account growth through coverage reviews, account rounding, and new business opportunities.
- Provide guidance to clients regarding policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, emails, and calls while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Utilize offshore support resources effectively to improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain a paperless workflow and support operational efficiency initiatives.
The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial insurance professional with strong client management abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- 3–5+ years of commercial lines retail insurance experience.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, servicing processes, and account management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to understand client challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated and able to manage priorities independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with computers, internet tools, Microsoft applications, and insurance technology platforms.
- Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse teams, including offshore partners.
- Reliable home internet connection with minimum required speeds and a wired Ethernet connection.
