Job Description
The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender who is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during banquet events in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures guests receive outstanding service while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar area.

Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down banquet bar according to event specifications and hotel standards.
- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks in a timely and accurate manner based on recipes or guest preferences.
- Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and suggesting beverages.
- Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
- Follow cash handling and drink ticket procedures accurately.
- Work closely with banquet staff to ensure smooth coordination during events.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies, as well as local and state alcohol laws.
- Report any equipment issues, incidents, or guest concerns to the Banquet Manager promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred:
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Previous hotel or banquet experience.
