Job Description

Strategic Partnerships Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager in Canada.

This is a high-impact commercial role focused on owning and scaling strategic partner relationships that directly drive revenue and long-term business growth. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end partnerships, from strategy development to execution, ensuring both sides achieve measurable value. The role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, relationship management, and cross-functional leadership across product, legal, marketing, and finance teams. You will act as the primary point of contact for key partners, building trust at all levels while identifying expansion opportunities and new growth levers. This is a highly autonomous position where success is defined by outcomes, ownership, and strategic execution. It is ideal for a data-driven, AI-native operator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full commercial lifecycle of strategic partner relationships, including revenue targets, growth planning, forecasting, and joint business execution.
  • Drive expansion opportunities within existing partnerships, including upsells, renewals, new use cases, and geographic growth initiatives.
  • Lead partner strategy development by deeply understanding partner business models, priorities, and market positioning to identify scalable growth opportunities.
  • Manage senior-level relationships across partner organizations, ensuring alignment, trust, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Risk teams to deliver on partnership commitments.
  • Translate partner needs into structured internal requirements, influencing roadmap priorities and execution plans.
  • Develop and execute co-marketing and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with internal teams to drive joint revenue growth.
  • Build scalable frameworks, processes, and playbooks to strengthen and scale the partnerships function.

Requirements:

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, Business Development, or similar partner-facing roles.
  • Proven track record of owning revenue-generating partnerships end-to-end with measurable business impact.
  • Strong experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and influencing senior executives.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data for forecasting, performance tracking, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong execution discipline.
  • AI-native mindset with experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, automation, and output quality.
  • Preferred: experience in fintech, SaaS, payments, or API-driven ecosystem partnerships.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote role with flexible working hours and strong work-life balance.
  • Competitive compensation package ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Generous parental leave for all employees.
  • High ownership role with significant strategic influence over partnership direction and outcomes.
  • Access to top-tier equipment and tools to support remote productivity.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing financial infrastructure environment with a highly experienced team.
  • Collaborative, low-ego culture focused on excellence, autonomy, and impact.
