Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for Entry-level tasks related to the maintenance of University facilities. Tasks could include, but are not limited to cleaning, repair work, outdoor work and inventory. This role includes testing and adjusting water chemistry, inspecting the pool and equipment, maintaining required logs, handling pool chemicals, and performing filter plant duties. The position also includes pool deck maintenance and cleaning as assigned.
A High School Diploma or GED is required. The employee must hold a pool and spa operator certification through the National Pool and Spa Foundation and a Category 24 Pesticides Operator certification through the Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry.
