This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys employee relations, problem-solving, compliance, employee engagement, and building strong workplace relationships. The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted HR resource to supervisors, managers, and employees across Residential Services, Day Programs, Client Employment Services, and Corporate Operations.

What You'll DoAs our Human Resources Generalist, you'll play a key role in supporting employees, supervisors, and organizational leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day HR guidance and support to supervisors, managers, and employees.
- Advising supervisors on attendance management, policy interpretation, employee relations concerns, and corrective action processes.
- Coordinating leave administration, including FMLA, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
- Administering employee benefits and assisting with annual Open Enrollment activities.
- Coordinating workers' compensation claims and leading the organization's Transitional Duty Program.
- Serving as the primary HR liaison with workers' compensation vendors, medical providers, and related partners.
- Preparing unemployment claim responses and participating in unemployment compensation hearings as needed.
- Conducting employee retention touchpoints and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
- Partnering closely with the HR Training Coordinator to deliver an exceptional onboarding and orientation experience for new employees.
- Supporting recruitment efforts, candidate onboarding, and workforce development initiatives.
- Conducting regular visits to program locations to maintain a visible and accessible HR presence.
- Chairing the monthly Safety Committee and supporting workplace safety initiatives.
- Assisting with compliance activities, personnel records management, and HR audits.
- Participating in an every-other-weekend HR support rotation to provide first-level HR guidance and support to operational leadership.

What We're Looking For- Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, leave administration, benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment, compliance, or related HR functions.
- Working knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania employment laws.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Human Resources certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, aPHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Relevant education and/or professional experience will be considered.
