COI/OPA Compliance Analyst in Tampa, Florida at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center

Position Highlights:

The COI/OPA Analyst supports system-wide compliance processes including Conflict of Interest and Outside Professional Activities programs. The Compliance Analyst is responsible for completing projects assigned in accordance with a defined work plan and project objectives in support of an effective Compliance Program. Under the direction of the COI Officer, the Analyst performs and responds to sensitive compliance reviews. He/she serves as the first point of contact and functions as a liaison with all internal and external customers and promotes an understanding of COI/OPA reporting, compliance issues, laws, regulations, and consequences of non-compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes new hires and transfer employees in the COI/OPA system and tracks compliance with COI/OPA disclosures and training. Conducts reviews of COI/OPA disclosures in the system. Ensures compliance with COI/OPA policies and procedures.

• Supports the COI/OPA Team in scheduling meetings, assisting with training and other materials, and addressing related queries.

• Develop and present summary compliance reports monthly, quarterly, and annually in support of compliance program effectiveness.

• Assists with compliance audits and special projects as requested by the Conflict of Interest Officer or designee.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in auditing, compliance, consulting, health care, research or regulatory experience.

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree
• CHC or CHRC
• Experience in Auditing, Investigations, Data Analytics, Compliance or Research.
• Experience using Visio, Databases, Electronic Health Records and implementation of institutional applications.
• Knowledge of Click COI application, CITI Training, Oncore, and Marcene applications.
