Job Description

Fitzrovia is seeking a high-performing People & Culture Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 term (May–August). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee experience within a fast-growing real estate development firm.

As we are a highly collaborative team, the successful candidate will be required to work in-office full-time.

This position has been created to support anticipated growth. The salary range for this position is $4,000 - $5,000 per month, based on skills and experience.

Fitzrovia uses AI-enabled tools to assist in screening and assessing applications. Final hiring decisions are made by Fitzrovia’s hiring team.

Key Responsibilities:

    Partner with the People & Culture team to support full-cycle recruitment for early-career roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and support talent pipeline development Contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes, helping deliver a seamless employee experience Maintain and audit HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems Assist in the development and standardization of job descriptions and HR documentation Support employee communications and People & Culture initiatives (e.g., internal updates, programs, engagement efforts) Take ownership of select HR projects and process improvements over the course of the internship

Qualifications and Experiences:

    Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Commerce, or related program at a Canadian universityDemonstrated interest in HR, talent, or people operations through coursework, internships, or extracurricular involvement Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently across all levels of the organization High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
