Alma Hospitality Group Bookkeeper at Alma Cafe, Restaurant and Hotel – Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have experience or educational background in bookkeeping with a strong attention to detail. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records and processing transactions while working in conjunction with our Accountant and CPA.

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable
• Maintain accurate records of company expenses
• Communicate with in-store managers and vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries
• Perform other related duties as assigned

We offer paid time off and various food and beverage discounts in our restaurants. This position will start at 10-15 hours a week with wages ranging from $23-25 based on experience.

Qualifications:

• At least two years experience in bookkeeping or related field or hold an associates degree or certificate in accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of Restaurant 365 accounting software is preferred, but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
