Job Title: HR Specialist

What You’ll Do:

As a trusted HR partner, you will support a broad range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional employee experience.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across exempt and non-exempt roles
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
  • Coordinate job postings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews
  • Lead onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless new hire experience
  • Represent the organization at recruiting and community events

Payroll Administration

  • Process biweekly payroll utilizing Paylocity
  • Maintain and update employee records and payroll data
  • Serve as the primary resource for payroll questions and discrepancies
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and policy compliance

Benefits & Leave Management

  • Administer employee benefits programs and open enrollment
  • Guide employees on benefit options and inquiries
  • Manage billing, invoices, and reconciliations
  • Administer leave programs in compliance with regulations and payroll integration

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems
  • Support policy review and ensure consistent application across departments
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture

What You’ll Bring:

Basic Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred

Core Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms (Paylocity strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong judgment and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range: $55,000 to $65,000 annually

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
