Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Demand Generation based in Canada.
This role owns demand generation for a high-growth consumer business, with responsibility for creating and capturing high-intent prospects and converting them into valuable, funded clients. You’ll lead programs across paid media, organic, lifecycle, and referral channels, balancing acquisition volume with downstream client quality. Working closely with Sales, Growth, Product Marketing, and Commercial Operations, you’ll shape targeting, lead quality, routing, and conversion strategies. The role offers significant autonomy and direct ownership of demand and revenue outcomes. You’ll use data, experimentation, and AI-powered tools to continuously improve campaigns and customer acquisition. This is an opportunity to build scalable growth programs in a fast-moving, collaborative environment while influencing how demand generation evolves.
- Own the execution of consumer demand-generation programs across paid media, organic, lifecycle, and referral channels, with performance measured through funded accounts and downstream client value.
- Build targeted campaigns for higher-value customer segments, partnering with Sales to define qualified prospects and optimize programs for conversion.
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial Operations on lead definitions, scoring, routing, database feedback loops, and pipeline performance.
- Develop and maintain reporting across the full demand funnel, from initial engagement through sign-up, funding, and retained client value, using insights to guide investment and experimentation.
- Establish a consistent testing cadence across creative, audiences, offers, landing pages, and campaign approaches, translating learnings into repeatable growth programs.
- Integrate AI tools into day-to-day demand-generation workflows, including creative development, copy iteration, audience research, landing-page optimization, and campaign experimentation.
- Contribute to quarterly demand-generation planning and take ownership of execution against agreed priorities and targets.
- 4–6 years of experience in demand generation, growth, or performance marketing, with a proven ability to generate high-quality consumer demand across multiple channels.
- Deep hands-on paid-media expertise, including ownership of budgets and campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or programmatic advertising, with a focus on downstream value rather than acquisition cost alone.
- Experience supporting distinct consumer segments and adapting messaging, creative, and channel strategies to different customer profiles, including high-value prospects.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales and Product Marketing, including experience establishing lead definitions, feedback loops, campaign briefs, and messaging strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI as a core productivity and growth tool, including generating and testing creative at scale, conducting research, building enrichment workflows, or accelerating data-driven insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose funnel issues, identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and make actionable recommendations.
- Experience working in a self-serve consumer environment alongside sales or advisory teams is an advantage.
- Lifecycle marketing experience, including onboarding, nurture, or re-engagement programs, is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing automation or lifecycle platforms such as Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, or similar is beneficial.
- Experience in consumer fintech, investing, banking, or insurance is an advantage.
- Base salary of CA$116,000–CA$145,000, with compensation determined by skills, experience, and role level; exceptional candidates may be considered above the stated range.
- Equity compensation for permanent employees, supported by transparent job levels and market-based compensation bands.
- Comprehensive health benefits and life insurance.
- Long-term group savings with employer matching.
- 20 vacation days, 4 wellness days, and unlimited sick and mental-health days annually.
- Ability to work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year.
- Remote work environment with flexibility and collaboration across North America.
- Employee resource groups supporting diverse communities and perspectives.
- Opportunity to work with talented, curious, and driven colleagues in a fast-moving environment.
- Exposure to emerging technologies, AI tools, and innovative approaches to marketing and growth.
- Accessibility support and accommodations throughout the hiring process where required.
