This is a high-impact position where sound judgment, independence, and regulatory fluency are essential to support sustainable growth and financial stability.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework covering credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks.
- Conduct prudential risk assessments, including stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital adequacy evaluations.
- Oversee margin-account risk governance, including loan-to-value (LTV) policies, haircut models, and collateral valuation monitoring.
- Monitor exposure limits, net-worth indicators, and capital add-ons, escalating breaches or anomalies to senior leadership.
- Prepare and support regulatory disclosures and reporting obligations for virtual asset service providers and financial institutions.
- Ensure strong independence from commercial and trading activities while collaborating with internal control functions.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and governance committees on risk, capital, and compliance matters.
- Promote a risk-aware culture through training, communication, and continuous improvement of methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with applicable Central Bank of Brazil regulations and VASP requirements.
- Must be legally resident in Brazil.
- Minimum 7+ years of senior experience in financial, prudential, or enterprise risk management roles.
- Strong independence from commercial functions, ideally operating within second-line risk or control environments.
- Solid knowledge of Central Bank of Brazil regulations, capital adequacy frameworks, and VASP compliance standards.
- Expertise in market, liquidity, and credit risk frameworks, including stress testing and margin lending operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field; postgraduate studies are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex risk data.
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Demonstrated understanding of crypto markets, digital assets, and associated financial risks.
- Must meet fit and proper standards, including strong professional reputation and compliance history without regulatory disqualifications.
- Study Growth Fund to support continuous learning and professional development
- Participation in internal events, workshops, and team-building activities
- Global work environment with diverse international collaboration
- Clear career advancement pathways in a rapidly expanding industry
- Internal mobility opportunities to support long-term career growth.
