This role sits at the intersection of finance operations, data analysis, and financial systems, supporting the stability and evolution of critical billing and revenue processes within a global-scale environment. You will act as a key connector between finance teams, engineering, and business operations, ensuring that financial systems run accurately and efficiently. The position involves both hands-on operational support and strategic improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on data integrity, process optimization, and automation. You will investigate complex billing and reconciliation issues, translate financial logic into technical requirements, and support large-scale system transformations. Working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will help improve financial workflows that directly impact global revenue operations. This is a high-visibility role where analytical rigor and technical fluency combine to drive meaningful operational improvements.

• Manage day-to-day financial systems operations, including billing support workflows and resolution of complex system inquiries.
• Lead incident triage processes, identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating resolution of financial system issues with engineering teams.
• Perform deep root cause analysis of billing discrepancies and execute or coordinate data corrections when required.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile financial data across Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure accuracy of key financial reporting and reconciliation metrics.
• Design, document, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance scalability and automation of financial processes.
• Lead operational and strategic initiatives, including billing system rollouts and implementation of contractual billing structures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial system reliability, data quality, and operational efficiency.

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Operations Analyst in finance, accounting, or billing environments.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including credit memos, adjustments, and ledger reconciliation.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation across financial systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience creating detailed SOPs and translating business rules into structured system requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex financial discrepancies.
• Ability to work in cross-functional environments with finance, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial concepts into technical and operational insights.
• Nice to have: experience with subscription billing tools such as Zuora or payment platforms like Adyen.
• Nice to have: exposure to global financial systems, reporting layers, or AI-assisted analytical workflows.
