This role is focused on strengthening operational risk management practices within a complex financial cooperative environment, ensuring processes, products, and services are properly mapped, controlled, and continuously improved. You will play a key part in identifying operational failures, analyzing losses, and driving corrective actions that enhance risk mitigation and organizational resilience. The position involves close collaboration with multiple internal areas, supporting regulatory compliance and contributing to the evolution of risk methodologies. You will also help monitor key risk indicators, update internal policies, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements of the financial system. This is a highly analytical and strategic role, with direct impact on governance, efficiency, and risk culture maturity. Accountabilities

In this role, you will support the end-to-end management of operational risk processes, ensuring proper identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks across the organization.

  • Map risks and controls across processes, products, and services, ensuring adherence to operational risk frameworks
  • Analyze operational losses and failures, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions
  • Propose, implement, and monitor action plans to strengthen controls and reduce risk exposure
  • Develop and track operational risk indicators and performance metrics
  • Update and maintain internal policies and regulatory documentation related to operational risk management
  • Monitor regulatory changes within the National Financial System and ensure compliance alignment
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation to support governance and decision-making
  • Support the implementation and evolution of risk management methodologies and frameworks
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams and cooperatives on risk-related topics
  • Contribute to the dissemination and strengthening of the risk culture across the organization
Requirements

You should bring a strong analytical profile with solid experience in risk management practices, preferably within financial institutions or regulated environments. The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data, processes, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields
  • Experience with operational risk management methodologies and frameworks
  • Knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards of the Brazilian Financial System
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with strategic vision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with operational risk loss reporting (DRO – CADOC 5050)
  • Skills in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Python, or SQL
