This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial soundness, regulatory compliance, and risk transparency within a fast-growing fintech environment. You will be responsible for monitoring capital and liquidity indicators, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting the preparation of key regulatory submissions to the Central Bank of Brazil. Acting as a bridge between risk management, finance, and compliance functions, you will help translate complex regulatory frameworks into practical operational processes. The position involves close analysis of financial and accounting data, ensuring alignment between regulatory reporting and internal controls. You will also support continuous improvement of risk policies and contribute to strengthening governance structures. - Review, update, and ensure compliance with risk policies, maintaining alignment between documented procedures and operational execution.
- Monitor regulatory updates from authorities such as the Central Bank of Brazil, CVM, and ANBIMA, assessing impacts and driving implementation actions.
- Identify gaps in risk controls and processes, proposing remediation plans and tracking their execution.
- Prepare and support regulatory reporting requirements, including DDR, DRM, DRL, DLI, DLO, and IRRBB submissions.
- Reconcile accounting records with asset positions to ensure consistency between financial and regulatory perspectives.
- Monitor and project key regulatory indicators such as Basel Index, Reference Equity, and exposure limits per client.
- Support preparation of documentation such as explanatory notes, due diligence questionnaires, and internal risk reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience in financial institutions or payment companies, particularly in regulatory reporting or accounting controls.
- Hands-on knowledge of COSIF and CADOCs frameworks.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and basic to intermediate SQL for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Central Bank of Brazil (BCB/CMN) regulations and internal control frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and operationalize regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
