Recruiter - Skilled Trades Staffing in Rockledge, Florida at SST Direct

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Construction / Skilled Trades Staffing Recruiter to join our team!

We are looking for recruiters with prior high-volume experience sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for roles within the construction industry (electricians, welders, plumbers, carpenters, etc.).

This role is high-volume recruiting specific to skilled trades roles within the construction industry.

• Location: Rockledge, FL
• Salary Range: $50,000-65,000/yr DOE
• Incentive: $2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/commission
• Hours: 40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
• Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off

Qualifications

• 2+ years recruiting construction skilled trades roles (we are not considering those with primarily light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, IT, tech, etc. backgrounds)
• Strong sourcing skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure when addressing regular high-demand requests and needs
• Bilingual a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
• Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
• Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience
• Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines
