AI Automation & Systems Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Automation & Systems Specialist based in Brazil.

This role focuses on building and scaling intelligent automation systems that streamline operations across multiple business functions such as finance, HR, marketing, and internal operations. You will be responsible for designing practical, AI-powered workflows that replace manual processes and improve organizational efficiency. The environment is highly execution-driven, requiring a strong ability to turn business needs into structured, scalable automation solutions. You will work closely with leadership and technical teams to design systems that integrate SaaS tools, APIs, and AI models into seamless workflows. The role demands strong systems thinking, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency in AI usage. You will also play a key role in optimizing automation architecture and ensuring workflows evolve alongside business needs. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of AI, automation, and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end AI-powered automation workflows across multiple business functions, including operations, finance, HR, and marketing.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation systems using platforms such as N8N and similar workflow orchestration tools.
  • Integrate SaaS applications, internal systems, and external APIs into unified and efficient automation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to translate business needs into structured automation solutions.
  • Optimize AI model usage, token consumption, and operational costs across workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Support the design and evolution of automation architecture, ensuring systems remain robust and adaptable.
  • Continuously improve existing workflows based on evolving business requirements and operational feedback.
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of experience in automation systems, workflow design, AI operations, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on experience with N8N or similar workflow automation tools (e.g., Make, Zapier).
  • Familiarity with AI ecosystems such as OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini.
  • Experience integrating APIs, SaaS platforms, and operational tools into automated workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable automation architectures.
  • Ability to translate business and operational requirements into technical automation solutions.
  • Understanding of AI token usage optimization and cost-aware system design.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice to have: basic scripting skills, experience with prompt engineering, and exposure to internal automation systems.
