- We are hiring an experienced Administrative Specialist to provide administrative support for all operational and project-related activities.
Miller Pipeline is hiring a Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to support 6S activities across the organization to drive safety and efficiency through workplace organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the 6S Subject Matter Expert for the company.
- Solicit feedback from subject matter experts on 6S events and translate into ideas to improve; elevate ideas to leadership for approval and implementation.
- Support idea implementation and further refinement.
- Apply Lean tools to solve problems at the regional level with consideration of strategic corporate objectives.
- Follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Develop and track sustainment through audits and checklists.
- Collaborate with operational areas to develop and maintain performance metrics, measurements, methods and targets.
- Use lean and continuous improvement tools such as process flow charts, checklists, templates, and guides to assist Miller Pipeline associates in implementing defined processes.
- Communicate progress, roadblocks and achievements with all stakeholders.
- Capture, document and share best practices; transfer data across the region; enable and encourage stakeholders across the region to adopt best practices.
- Proactively encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in identifying and enabling other Lean leaders and 6S Champions in achieving the companys vision of success.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years professional work experience with some exposure to continuous improvement concepts and principles.
- Ability to travel frequently by vehicle and/or airplane (80%), including overnight travel.
- Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong math skills and effective written communication.
- Ability to build relationships in cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to work independently or with a team.
- Enjoy working with others to achieve a common goal.
- Tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent attention to detail andexceptional follow through.
- Highly self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a business related field from an accredited university.
- Project lead and reporting.
- Experience withMiller Pipeline's operations and/or CIprocesses.
- MS Visio; Monday.com; Sharepoint; MS Teams.
