The Director of Demand Generation will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-channel programs that generate qualified pipeline and support business growth. This role will lead a demand generation team, collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders, and build scalable processes that connect product adoption with enterprise revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute the overall demand generation strategy across paid media, email campaigns, webinars, sponsorships, account-based marketing (ABX), and other channels.
- Build and scale ABX programs targeting strategic industries and high-value customer segments in partnership with sales teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand generation team while managing agency and contractor relationships.
- Own pipeline goals, forecasting models, channel performance analysis, budget allocation, and conversion optimization strategies.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Content, Web, Communications, and SDR leadership to create aligned campaigns and improve lead conversion.
- Design AI-powered workflows and automation processes to improve campaign execution, personalization, reporting, and team efficiency.
- Monitor changes in AI-driven search and discovery behaviors and incorporate emerging trends into demand generation strategies.
- Manage and optimize the demand generation budget while ensuring measurable business impact.
- Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to leadership teams.
- Continuously improve processes, systems, and frameworks to support scalable growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on demand generation leader with extensive experience building B2B SaaS marketing programs. They bring strong analytical skills, technical audience expertise, and the ability to operate independently while leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, growth marketing, or related marketing leadership roles.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing marketing teams.
- Proven experience supporting both product-led growth (PLG) and enterprise go-to-market strategies.
- Strong background marketing to technical audiences and engaging sophisticated buyers.
- Demonstrated ability to build demand generation programs from strategy through execution and measurement.
- Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows, automation, campaign development, and reporting efficiency.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing and sales technology platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Qualified, Clay, or similar tools.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and communicate recommendations to sales and executive leadership.
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to identify opportunities, create solutions, and execute without relying on established playbooks.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Preferred experience with open-source products, AI search/GEO/AEO strategies, observability, IoT, infrastructure, or data technology markets.

- U.S. Zone 1 estimated base salary: $165K – $200K plus equity, bonus, and benefits.
