The Principal, NetSuite Consultant will lead client engagements by providing expert guidance, managing delivery quality, and driving continuous improvement across ERP solutions. This role acts as a key point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring successful service delivery while supporting team development and operational excellence.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for NetSuite solutions, providing strategic consulting and guidance to clients across implementation, optimization, support, and escalation activities.
- Act as the primary technical account lead for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing workload, monitoring delivery timelines, and ensuring service-level commitments are achieved.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, process effectiveness, service quality, backlogs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Review client agreements, monitor project scope, resource allocation, billing, renewals, and overall engagement profitability.
- Advise clients on NetSuite functionality, industry best practices, ERP optimization strategies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Lead initiatives that enhance managed service delivery models, operational maturity, and customer success.
- Mentor and train consultants by sharing technical expertise, functional knowledge, and consulting best practices.
- Support and coordinate teams working across multiple locations and engagements.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators and identify proactive improvements within client environments.
The ideal candidate is an experienced NetSuite professional with strong consulting capabilities, client management expertise, and the ability to lead technical teams. They should combine ERP knowledge with excellent communication skills to support both technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience, including configuration, implementation, administration, consulting, support, and complex issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of ERP best practices, business processes, and technology-driven operational improvements.
- NetSuite certifications, including ERP Consultant or Administrator certifications, are highly preferred.
- Experience integrating NetSuite with external platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Salesforce, payroll systems, logistics platforms, or other business applications.
- Familiarity with integration tools such as Celigo, Boomi, or NetSuite Connector is an asset.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of consultants across multiple projects or client engagements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze business challenges and recommend scalable solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a consulting environment.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $135,000 to $165,000 USD, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
