Job Description

Principal Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of collaboration platforms within a complex, global industry ecosystem.
You will lead product strategy for solutions that enable organizations to manage users, workflows, data, and business relationships more effectively.
As a senior product leader, you will represent customer needs while guiding teams through discovery, development, launch, and adoption.
You will work at the intersection of technology, customer experience, and platform innovation in a highly collaborative environment.
The position requires a strong product mindset, technical fluency, and the ability to simplify complex challenges into intuitive solutions.
You will have a direct impact on how businesses connect, collaborate, and operate at scale.

Accountabilities:

The Principal Product Manager will own the strategy, execution, and evolution of platform capabilities designed to improve administration, collaboration, and extensibility. This role requires strong customer advocacy, technical understanding, and leadership across cross-functional teams.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, particularly for workspace administrators, by bringing market insights and user feedback into product decisions.
  • Own the complete product lifecycle, including discovery, concept validation, development, launch planning, go-to-market execution, enablement, and adoption.
  • Define and deliver intuitive workspace management experiences across multiple products and customer environments.
  • Lead the development and launch of public APIs that enable integrations, flexibility, and platform extensibility.
  • Drive API-first product strategies focused on developers and scalable platform capabilities.
  • Build solutions that allow administrators to configure settings, manage business units, and customize workflows efficiently.
  • Support global product requirements by evolving capabilities to address regional compliance and diverse customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and leadership teams to align product vision and execution.
  • Create clear product documentation, prototypes, and communication materials that translate complex ideas into actionable concepts.
  • Define success metrics, monitor KPIs, and use data-driven insights to guide product improvements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise software, and customer-focused product development.

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management within enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven experience leading products focused on administrator, purchaser, platform, or enterprise user personas.
  • Experience with software administration concepts or tools such as enterprise CRM, workflow, or business management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of API-first development and platform product management principles.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging for customers, executives, and engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience creating product documentation, presenting strategies, and facilitating customer conversations.
  • Strong ability to define, measure, and optimize product success metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with a strong focus on learning and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for solving real user problems rather than simply delivering features.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in product communication, positioning, and execution.
  • Experience using prototyping and collaboration tools such as Figma or similar platforms is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of approximately CA$142,000 to CA$207,900, depending on experience and location.
  • Potential eligibility for annual bonuses, stock grants, and additional compensation programs.
  • Comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee well-being.
  • Flexible remote work options within Canada.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful products used by organizations worldwide.
  • Collaborative culture focused on innovation, inclusion, and professional growth.
  • Access to opportunities for continuous learning and career development.
  • Chance to contribute to solutions that transform how industries design, build, and operate.
