About This Position
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Project Manager & Administrator will support the Chief Strategy & Development Officer and Chief Programs Officer with a variety of high-level administrative functions and project management related to fundraising and program implementation. The role also provides assistance with meeting materials and communications, including with Board Committees, and projects where judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems and make recommendations. Work as a positive and engaging convener across all departments (i.e. President’s Office, Strategy & Development, Programs, MarCom, Finance, and Human Resources)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-level administrative support and manages demanding calendar and scheduling with competing priorities for Chief Strategy & Development Officer and Chief Programs OfficerOrganizes and maintains important documents and materials per senior leadersProcess expense reports, ensure invoices are submitted in a timely manner, make travel arrangements as necessaryAttends committee meetings, which includes managing logistics, assembling, and distributing related materials, and transcribing meeting minutesSupport CSDO and CPO on special requests and projects Schedules all direct report 1:1, team, and committee meetings for both senior leaders Manages cross-functional workflow between Strategy & Development and Programs departments, including the implementation of program-specific fundraising strategiesConducts research into prospective donors and supports communications with and stewardship of new and prospective donors as needed

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, along with 3-5 years of nonprofit experience, administrative support, and office management Exceptional administrative and organizational skills. Ability to think creatively, strategically and execute ideas with limited direction. Sound judgment and the ability to think critically and strategically.Meticulous attention to details and follow through; ability and desire to deliver a high level of customer service when corresponding to various questions and requests from both internal and external stakeholders. High level of Executive presence when working with partners and donorsPossess a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and day to day tasks in a nimble environment.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, proactive thinker with the ability to deliver exceptional service Demonstrated ability to be discreet and maintain highly confidential information.Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Database experience preferred. PowerPoint and white boarding software expertise Experienced and comfortable with various virtual platforms, such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.Willingness to work both in-person and virtually according to organization’s current hybrid model.
