Job Description
The Executive Assistant creates value for our customers by enabling Gordon’s CEO to be more efficient and effective in the role. This role requires exceptional communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage a wide variety of administrative and executive support tasks with proactive intuition and sound judgement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
2. Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
3. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and other resources.
4. Coordinate meetings, including logistics, agendas, and take-away summary with action-items.
5. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
6. Prompt executive with relevant opportunities that would help with organization or efficiency.
7. Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of the executive when necessary.
8. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare required materials.
9. Assist in managing projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met.
10. Perform general office duties as required and occasionally run local errands.
11. Always uphold safety standards and company procedures.
12. Remain current on all required training as mandated by Gordon Electric Supply.
13. Perform other job and work-related responsibilities, tasks, and projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Job Competencies
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively with sound judgement
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Education, Experience, Credentials
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working with C-level executives.
• Experience required managing Executive email inbox.
• Experience required using AI for work, preferably for efficiency and organization.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
• Experience booking travel for work and using expense management platform
• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
