Summary
The Systems Analyst II serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, and optimizing enterprise systems. This role leads technical analysis efforts, owns system solutions end to end, and acts as the primary technical liaison between business teams, IT, and vendors. The Systems Analyst II plays a key role in ensuring scalable, reliable, and well-integrated system solutions.
Essential Functions
- Primary responsibility for the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of enterprise systems.
- Design and implement system workflows, business rules, and advanced configurations to support business processes.
- Lead system upgrades, feature enablement, and platform enhancements across supported applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address stability, performance, or scalability risks.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between enterprise platforms.
- Define and maintain data mappings, transformation logic, and technical interfaces supporting integrations.
- Partner with IT, developers, and vendors on APIs, middleware, automation tools, and integration frameworks.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system, data flow, and integration issues.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and end-to-end data flows.
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and system solutions.
- Perform technical feasibility analysis and recommend system-based solutions that align with business needs.
- Define and enforce configuration standards and best practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Perform complex data analysis to support business operations, system functionality, and reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and integrations.
- Lead root cause analysis for system and data-related incidents and coordinate resolution efforts.
- Partner with reporting and analytics teams to support data structures, availability, and accuracy for reporting solutions.
- Lead system, integration, and regression testing efforts to ensure solution quality and stability.
- Define testing strategies and technical acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
- Coordinate deployments, releases, and post-release stabilization activities.
- Assess the technical impact of proposed system changes, including downstream effects on integrations, data, security, and reporting.
- Provide implementation estimates, risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations to support prioritization and planning.
- Advise stakeholders on technical trade-offs, alternative solution approaches, and long-term system implications.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact with system vendors, managing incidents, enhancements, and roadmap discussions.
- Review vendor proposals, solution designs, and technical documentation for feasibility and alignment with standards.
- Own system documentation, technical runbooks, and integration diagrams; ensure knowledge transfer, reduce dependency on institutional knowledge, and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation or scalable system enhancements.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–7+ years of experience in systems analysis or application support roles
- Strong experience with system configuration, integrations, and data analysis
- Proven ability to lead technical design and implementation efforts
- Experience with complex enterprise system ecosystems preferred
- Hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, or automation platforms preferred
- Experience in regulated or audited environments preferred
- Prior experience mentoring or leading technical work streams preferred

Work Location
This role is designated as a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Yuba City, CA. While the position offers flexibility to work remotely part of the week, candidates should expect regular on-site work to support collaboration, security operations, and business needs.
Compensation Range
The company anticipates offering an hourly range between $40.87 and $45.48 or this position at the time of hire. This range includes base salary (or hourly wages) and does not include possible overtime for non-exempt employees or any applicable performance-based incentives or commissions.
Annual Merit Increase
Employees are eligible for a discretionary yearly merit-based salary adjustment, based on individual performance and company results.
