GENERAL DESCRIPTION

OrthoNY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. This critical role acts as the go-to person for staff in the clinical area and serves as a backup to the Site Operations Manager. The Clinical Lead will act as a lead for clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes in our urgent care department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the urgent care team, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines;
  • Lead by example, delivering high-quality orthopaedic care and customer service to patients;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff and providers regarding clinical questions and issues;
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for clinical staff, promoting continuous learning and professional development;
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Operations Manager to manage scheduling and oversee inventory supply orders, ensuring efficient workflow;
  • Assist with new hire training as needed;
  • Provide mentorship and support to clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork;
  • Carry out other duties as needed;

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:

  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demands;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting; 3 years preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential.
