The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are happy to announce full-time, on-site, Payroll Specialist positions filled with many exciting opportunities in Clearwater, FL! This includes a $1250.00 Sign-On Bonus payable after ninety (90) days of successful employment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact FrankCrum business everyday by processing payroll and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

  1. Handles a permanent processing schedule totaling 80 or more points per week while assisting other team members process payrolls as needed.
  2. Reviews and enters employee maintenance with accuracy and completeness in time sensitive situations, ensuring FrankCrum, Federal, State and Locals rules and regulations. Routinely routes non‑urgent maintenance items to the Clerk Queue.
  3. Maintains excellent accuracy and attention to detail by following balancing procedures with payrolls of all complexity levels.
  4. Assists with monitoring the Payroll Queue, with the expectation of processing at least 20-25 payrolls per year.
  5. Assists with client account coverage during planned and unplanned absences across all payroll teams.
  6. Assists clients with commonly used HRIS system functions.
  7. Demonstrates professionalism and provides exceptional service and support to both clients and internal employees.
  8. Performs self-audit payroll reviews for accuracy and compliance with state/federal rules and regulations as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.
  9. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of payroll rules and calculations, including but not limited to overtime pay, job costing, piecework, and/or multi – state payrolls.
  10. Demonstrates Excel knowledge, using limited formulas as well as manipulating spreadsheets, adding and removing rows and columns, copy and paste, sorting data, etc.
  11. Demonstrates knowledge of FLSA, state, and local payroll rules and regulations.
  12. Demonstrates knowledge and skillset in creating and/or manipulating available reports to meet specific client needs.
  13. Demonstrates understanding of all paid time off accrual types, including state rules and regulations, and how to properly apply them in current systems.
  14. Assists with projects, etc. as needed.
  15. Provides productive feedback on company software, training, and processes.
  16. Exhibits effective problem-solving skills and provides proposed solutions when questions or issues arise.
  17. Exhibits effective time management, prioritization, and organization skills, including email organization.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include experience processing payroll, customer service skills, comprehensive written and communication skills, and experience in Word, Excel and Outlook. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant payroll experience.
