Job Title: Maintenance Department Clerk - hourly, fulltime position

Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), an Industry-leading Facilities Management company, is actively looking for an ambitious team member for our open Maintenance Department Clerk position. VRI supports various companies/industries, running the day to day maintenance operations, overseeing the department, so our client can focus on the rest and do what they do best! Our goal for the Maintenance Department Clerk position is to select a candidate with a servant’s heart, who delights in helping others, gets along with others, and who sees a need and desires to fill that need, while also possessing a keen sense of attention to detail!

Client Facility (working location):

Nacogdoches Medical Center, 4920 NE Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches, TX 75965 (South campus)

Schedule: generally, Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm, some exceptions outside of business hours, depending on business needs.

Department: Maintenance

Pay rate =$17 - $19 per/hr – paid according to experience & skill level!

  • Ability to effectively communicate: read & write, in English
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Pass a drug screen & criminal background check
  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age

  • Must be self-motivated & diligent to stay on task, remaining efficient, yet accurate in all tasks

- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision

- Professional interaction and collaboration and clear communication with other Team Members

- Punctuality and Dependability is a MUST

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

- Must be physically able to do the following: •

o Sit for long periods of time

o Work with telephones, computer, hand-held communication devices, and other office equipment

o Lift up to 25-40 lbs regularly

- Wear PPE when required

- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

- Flu vaccination or exemption, required

- All other projects and duties as assigned

IMPORTANT: During peak flu season, this facility requires evidence, annually, of the influenza vaccination, for all staff; note: religious /medical exemptions may be granted in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
