Job Description
Eagle TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Senior Software Tester to join our team. Candidates will need to be within commuting distance of O'Fallon, IL

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$92,000 annually and is dependent on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functional and technical requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web-based applications, including functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing using applicable testing tools and frameworks.
- Ensure all software complies with DoD security standards, performing static and dynamic code analysis using tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, and Nessus.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations.
- Work closely with Scrum teams to provide feedback on user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews to ensure test coverage is in alignment with development goals.
- Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with developers, ensuring issues are resolved before production releases.
- Use JIRA for issue tracking and managing testing workflows.
- Support automated testing within Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms.
- Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test case execution results, defect tracking, and issue resolutions.
- Provide insights on quality metrics and recommendations for future improvements.
- Facilitate UAT sessions with end-users, ensuring that the system meets functional requirements before production deployment.
- Adhere to DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements for application security and compliance.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Ability to work individually as well as with cross functional teams.
- Experience as a software tester working with Java and Angular.
- Experience working with GitLab.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Sec+ or better
- Working experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Desired
- Experience with United States Transportation Command systems
