Plant Laborer in Ravena, New York at Carver Companies Payroll LLC

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Plant Laborer to support daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for assisting with production activities, pallet wrapping, material handling, housekeeping, and other general labor duties to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

• Wrap finished pallets using stretch wrap equipment or manual methods to ensure product stability and safe transport.
• Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility as needed.
• Assist with production line operations and packaging activities.
• Inspect pallets and products for quality and report any issues to supervisors.
• Stack, organize, and stage products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and production floors.
• Perform general labor tasks, including sweeping, shoveling, lifting, and material handling.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks when required.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues promptly.
• Support other plant operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.
• Experience with pallet wrapping, packaging, or material handling.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–70 pounds.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely perform manual labor throughout a scheduled shift.

• Industrial plant environment with exposure to machinery, dust, noise, and production equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive physical activity.
• Overtime, weekend work, and shift work may be required based on operational needs.
