Outpatient Physical Therapist

Join New England's Leading Teaching Practice for Physical Therapy!

If you're a PT who wants to actually practice, not chase productivity numbers, Highbar was built for you. As New England's leading teaching practice, we're built around clinical autonomy, real mentorship, and a career that doesn't require burning out to succeed - the kind of practice where you get to practice at the top of your license (PATTOTL). Here's what sets this role apart:

Patient volume: Under 12 patients per day
Student loans: We pay them down until they're gone
Professional development: $15,000+ invested in your first 18 - 24 months
Visit structure: 1:1 patient care
Documentation: AI-supported + Prompt EMR to cut down on after-hours charting
Schedules: Predictable and thoughtfully built
Autonomy: You decide the plan of care with PT-led clinical decisions
Support staff: Exercise Specialists on the floor, so you can focus on being a clinician
Leadership: Direct access to PT leaders who have been in your shoes

What Your Day Actually Looks Like at Highbar:

We believe clarity builds trust. If something starts to creep toward burnout, leadership intervenes early. That's part of the job design, not an afterthought.

Mentorship and Professional Development:

As New England's leading teaching practice, Highbar makes professional development part of your workweek, not something you squeeze in to meet your CEU requirements:

2 paid mentorship hours/week for your first 12 weeks
Structured onboarding with a Clinic Director + Peer Mentor
Monthly Skillz meetings (onsite CE, every month)
Core-4 Series to align clinical decision-making and PATTOTL principles
$15,000+ in professional development invested in your first 18 - 24 months
In-house Orthopedic Residency, Dry Needling (Level I and II), and COMT pathways
Specialty SIGs (Pelvic Health, Sports, Neuro, Vestibular, Pediatrics, and more)

About Highbar Physical Therapy

Highbar Physical Therapy is a teaching practice, built by physical therapists, for physical therapists. We invest in clinicians at every stage of their career, from new graduates through experienced specialists, giving you clinical autonomy, real mentorship, and a career that doesn't require burning out to succeed.

You'll Thrive at Highbar if You Value:

Practicing as a clinician - not a productivity unit
Autonomy paired with real support
Clear expectations around workload and growth
Leadership with clinical backgrounds
Feedback that's welcomed and acted on

What You'll Need:

Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
Active PT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
A desire to grow clinically, contribute to a team, and practice thoughtfully

Why PTs Who've Tried Other Clinics Choose Highbar

Most PTs come to Highbar after experiencing the burnout, high patient loads, and top-down management that's common across the industry. Here, they stay because the difference is real, not just a recruiting pitch.

Our clinicians regularly tell us the same things: they finally feel like professionals again. They have time to think, time to document, and time to actually invest in each patient. Schedules don't spiral. Leadership listens. And when life gets hard, the practice bends, not the clinician.
