We are a residential treatment center for youth with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, offering outpatient behavioral health and on-site medical services. POSITION SUMMARY 

The Behavioral Health Program Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the operational integrity of a 24/7 behavioral health program serving children and adolescents. This position supports the Program Director by ensuring consistent staffing, organizing therapeutic activities, collecting program data, and delivering specialized training to frontline staff. The coordinator helps foster a trauma-informed, culturally responsive environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with program standards. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Manage daily and weekly staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage, coordinating shift changes,call-outs, and emergency staffing needs.Planandscheduleactivities for youth, ensuring engagement, safety, and alignment with program goals.Communicate professionally,clearlyandrespectfulwith program staff to coordinate outing activities and daily operations, ensuring smooth program delivery and teamwork. Collect, organize, and report program data for internal and external use, supporting evaluation, reporting, and decision-making.

Assistwith audits, compliance reviews, and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to organizational, licensing, and accreditation standards.Deliver specialized training to direct care staff andmaintainaccuratetraining records to ensure staff competency and program compliance.Support the Program Director with operational tasks, communications, project coordination, and implementation of new policies and procedures across the program.Promote a positive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and professional work environment that supports both staff and program participants.Maintainaccurateprogram documentation and records, supporting accountability, transparency, and continuity of care.Perform other duties assigned to support program operations, organizational goals, and mission-driven initiatives.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Candidates must meet the minimum educational and experience requirements for the position and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications. 

High School or Equivalent required; BA in psychology, social services, education or related preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detailMinimum 2 years in a shift-based environment (healthcare, residential, shelter, youth services, education, or similar) with responsibility for scheduling or coverage. Direct experience in youth services/residential/behavioral health preferred. Experience facilitating training or staff meetings, highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and scheduling tools; strong data entry and reporting skills. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with licensing regulations. Demonstrated traumainformed, culturally responsiveapproach; strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to support 24/7 operations, including evenings/weekends/on-call. PHYSICAL DEMAND  While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, or crouch; lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; use hands to handle or feel objects and reach with arms; and communicate clearly and effectively in person and by phone. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT  Work is typically performed in an indoor, collaborative setting. The noise level is moderate, and interactions frequently involve communication and teamwork beyond basic work instructions.
