Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk with strong experience in QuickBooks to support day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Generate and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

• Experience in a small business or professional services environment.
• Familiarity with other accounting software or platforms.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings.

DUTIES
Daily:

• Accounts Payable
• Invoicing
• Deposit checks
• Back up for AR application
• Purchase order creation

Daily:

• Allocations JE Backup
• Accruals JE Backup
• Assist with mthly BS reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations

Other:

• Assist with credit card cleanup
• Assist with budgeting process

**Other duties as assigned.
