As a per-diem team member, you’ll support our dental clinics in Portsmouth and Somersworth, stepping in where you’re needed most and helping ensure patients receive the care they deserve.

You’ll work alongside a supportive, mission-driven team in a collaborative environment focused on whole-person, community-centered care.

🪥 What You’ll DoAs a Per Diem Dental Assistant, you’ll support daily clinic operations by:

Assisting dentists and hygienists chairside during procedures

Preparing and maintaining clean, well-stocked operatories

Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with NH Dental Practice Act

Performing delegated dental assisting duties per scope and protocols

Maintaining infection control, sterilization, and safety standards

Supporting patient flow, education, and comfort

Helping with supplies, equipment, and patient records as needed

Collaborating with a caring, team-oriented dental staff

✅ What You’ll Need (Required)Basic chairside dental assisting experience is required.
Candidates must have hands-on chairside experience to be considered.

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

CDA certification preferred but not required

NH Radiology certification (or eligibility to obtain)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Compassionate, patient-focused approach

Experience working with diverse or underserved populations is a plus
