You don't need metal finishing or plating experience to start here.

We're looking for dependable people who like hands-on work, can follow instructions, take pride in doing a job correctly, and want an opportunity to earn, learn and become more valuable.

As a Production Racker, you'll prepare metal parts for the plating and metal-finishing process. You'll attach parts to specialized racks before processing, remove them afterward, inspect and handle parts carefully, and follow work instructions that tell you how each job needs to be completed.

Some parts may be large. Others may be extremely small. The work can be repetitive, and production pace matters - but so does quality.

If you like staying busy, working with your hands and seeing what you've accomplished at the end of the day, this may be a good fit.

This position may be a good fit if:

• You can consistently be at work and ready to begin at 5:00 AM.
• You prefer active hands-on work over sitting at a desk.
• You're comfortable performing repetitive tasks and developing a steady work rhythm.
• You can work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• You pay attention to small details and can follow written work instructions.
• You understand that "I've done this before" doesn't replace following the current process.
• You take feedback well and are willing to learn.
• You want a steady job where dependable employees have opportunities to learn additional skills and advance.
• Earning additional money is important to you, and you're interested in taking advantage of overtime opportunities when they are available.

This position may not be a good fit if you need frequent schedule flexibility, strongly dislike repetitive production work, prefer changing tasks constantly, or are looking primarily for forklift or warehouse work.

• Rack and unrack metal parts before and after plating or finishing.
• Read and follow job paperwork and written work instructions.
• Select and use the proper racks and tooling for each job.
• Handle customer parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Inspect parts for obvious defects or concerns.
• Maintain an efficient production pace while protecting quality.
• Keep parts organized and properly identified throughout the process.
• Follow established safety, quality and production procedures.
• Work with your team to keep production moving.
• Perform other related production duties as assigned.

Previous metal-finishing experience is not required. We will train the right person. We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong attendance and punctuality record.
• Can reliably work the posted schedule and arrive ready to work at the scheduled start time.
• Can read, understand and follow written work instructions.
• Is comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Can remain focused while performing repetitive work.
• Has good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Can balance quality with expected production pace.
• Accepts coaching and correction professionally.
• Can work independently while also contributing to the team.
• Takes responsibility for their own work.

The position includes standing for extended periods, repetitive hand and arm movements, handling parts of varying sizes and weights, and working in an active metal-finishing environment.

The manufacturing environment may include noise, heat, humidity, chemicals and other conditions typical of a metal-finishing operation. Required personal protective equipment is provided.

Because we serve customers in industries with strict security requirements, personal mobile devices must be secured during working hours. Employees may access personal devices only during authorized breaks and in designated areas.

If having access to your personal phone throughout the workday is important to you, please consider this requirement before applying.

We offer a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including:

• Medical insurance
• Employer-paid NICE Healthcare services (zero cost to employee if on our medical plan - free visits/medications)
• Dental and vision insurance
• 401(k) with Company match
• Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage
• Paid time off
• Paid holidays
• Weekly Attendance Reward opportunity
• Profit-sharing opportunity
• Employee referral opportunities
• Structured new-hire performance reviews with opportunities for wage increases
• Opportunities to learn additional skills and advance within the Company

Racking is an entry point into the metal-finishing industry.

Employees who demonstrate strong attendance, quality, work ethic and the ability to learn may have opportunities to develop into more skilled production positions and other areas of the Company.

If you're dependable, willing to learn and ready to work, we'll teach you the rest.

Please complete the application and screening questions carefully. Your responses help us determine whether the position and work environment are a good match for you.

Qualified candidates may be invited to an in-person interview and skills assessment. We do not conduct virtual interviews for this position.
