JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- Job Summary:
  - Knowledgeable in the efficient operation of the hospital's console. Professionally and promptly answers incoming calls; transfers callers as appropriate; answers questions from callers in accordance with established hospital policy. Takes and relays messages. Receives calls from caller/patient in professional and courteous manner, and relates to physician complete and accurate information pertaining to the call received.
- Education:
  - Position requires a high school diploma or GED and 0- 6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.
- Registration/Certification/Licensure:
  - None listed
- Experience:
  - Position requires 0-6 months related experience.
- Other Requirements:
  - Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
  - Position requires weekend and night availability.
