Description
This position is to provide oversight and leadership within the anesthesia service line. Position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical and administrative anesthesia operations within the assigned region. Participation in the development and implementation of goals, policies and procedures for service line is required.

Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of healthcare management experience. Must have multi-site experience and working directly with physicians. Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.

Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must have access to phone and or text messaging
Work Environment: This job operates in professional office environments.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five years or progressive work experience in a multispecialty physician group model with proven management success. Practice management or health care operations experience required. Experience managing an Anesthesiology practice is highly preferred.
