Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is passionate about client care, comfortable working in a busy clinical/studio setting, and interested in building a steady, long-term clientele. This position is open to independent contractors, and we are willing to hire as an employee for the right person who aligns with our clinical/studio culture and goals.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time position (approximately 30–35+ hours per week of availability)

• Open availability strongly preferred (including a few evenings and either Saturday or Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services to a diverse clientele

• Perform intake and assessment to determine appropriate treatment plans

• Maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment

• Complete session notes and follow studio policies and procedures

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members

• Support studio marketing and retention efforts by encouraging rebooking and promoting appropriate services

• Uphold ethical standards and proper draping at all times

Required Qualifications

• Current Missouri license as a Licensed Massage Therapist

• Professional liability insurance

• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications is a plus

• Ability to provide a variety of modalities such as:

• Swedish and relaxation massage

• Therapeutic and deep tissue (a plus)

• Chair massage

• Any additional specialties are welcome (prenatal, sports, cupping, etc.)

Preferred Qualities

• Open, flexible availability including evenings and at least one weekend day

• Comfortable working as part of a team in a multi-therapist studio

• Professional, punctual, and dependable

• Strong communication and client service skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to New Day Massage systems and standards

• Interest in growing and maintaining a regular client base

Compensation & Structure

• Compensation structure depends on IC vs. employee status and experience

• Details will be discussed during the interview process

• Opportunities for steady bookings and repeat clientele in an established studio setting
