Now, we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager to take ownership of an assigned territory and help us grow what moves our customers’ businesses forward.

About the Role

As a Territory Manager – Outside Sales, you’ll be the face of Belt Power in your territory—developing strong customer relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering value-added solutions. You’ll work closely with your Business Unit Leader (BUL), Inside Sales, and cross-functional teams to build a strategic pipeline, expand market penetration, and exceed growth objectives.

This is a consultative, hands-on sales role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, understands industrial customers, and enjoys turning challenges into long-term partnerships.

Pay Range: $80,000

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and profitable growth
• Serve as the primary point of contact for National, OEM, and Regional Accounts, managing communication and project coordination
• Drive revenue by promoting and selling Belt Power solutions through a relationship-based, consultative sales approach
• Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within your territory
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to support consistent growth
• Meet or exceed territory growth goals and assigned KPIs
• Collaborate with adjacent Territory Managers, Inside Sales, suppliers, and manufacturers on joint calls and opportunities
• Support successful shop participation and product/service implementation by working cross-functionally
• Participate in trade shows, conventions, and networking events to generate leads and strengthen market presence
• Track sales activity, analyze reports, and provide timely updates on pipeline and performance
• Provide customer feedback and market insights to leadership regarding trends, competition, and new opportunities
• Demonstrate products and assist customers in selecting the best solutions for their operations
• Maintain a structured call plan to ensure proactive and consistent customer engagement
• Represent Belt Power professionally at all times and uphold company culture and safety standards
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety regulations

What you bring

• Previous outside sales experience in industrial distribution (preferred)
• Experience with conveyors and/or automation (preferred)
• Working knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as business needs require
• Must pass a drug screen and background check

Physical & Work Environment

This role involves working in offices, shops, and customer sites and may include exposure to moving machinery and loud environments. The position requires physical activity such as lifting, bending, standing, kneeling, and operating equipment controls.

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Frequent travel, including overnight, overtime, and weekend work as needed
