North Austin Pediatrics is seeking a Billing & Front Office Supervisor to join our Cedar Park office location’s management team. We are an independently owned, private practice that has been passionate about serving the Austin area with offices North Austin, Cedar Park, and Leander.

Core Duties:

• Responsible for Billing processes and activities for the Cedar Park office location.
• Maintain filing of claims, payments, and reporting.
• Oversees and responsible for the front office staff supervision, schedule for office location, covers as needed if front staff call ins and/or planned vacation.
• Oversees front office duties delegation to ensure front office staff team is assigned to and maintains specific front office duties as working up specific provider appointments, front office flow, appointment scheduling policies followed, etc.
• Responsible for training new hire front office staff.

Hours:

• Full Time--Monday thru Friday shifts from 7:45am -515pm, with one Saturday morning shift every 6-8 weeks.

• 2+ years experience in billing and coding preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
• Prior experience with supervision preferred
• Proven experience with electronic medical records essential
• Must possess proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to employ tact, diplomacy, and compassion in addressing staffing and patient issues and needs is required
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - are required
• Ability to relate to children
• Must possess excellent time management skills
• Well Organized, ability to multi-task, and punctual?
• Candidates must also have great customer skills, be a team player, and the ability to relate well to children.
• Medical Office environment; frequent contact with patients and public, some exposure to potentially infectious agents. Work may be stressful at times. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to stoop, bend and stretch for files and supplies. Occasionally lifting files, paper or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds is required. Manual dexterity to operate a calculator, keyboard, copier, and other office equipment is essential.
