Who We Are

MSQC is a retailer founded in 2008 and the world’s largest provider of pre-cut quilting fabric. We’re part of a craft-first enterprise that also includes LoveCrafts—a global online marketplace for makers—and WEBS, a premier U.S. yarn retailer serving knitters, crocheters, weavers, and spinners. Together, we support a worldwide community of makers with quality supplies, inspiration, and joyful service, strengthened by our deep expertise in bringing high-quality fabrics to market.

Guided by progressive and pragmatic people practices, we are continuing to evolve our HR/People function, building on strong existing capability while increasing our focus on proactive business partnership. This includes working closely with operations to navigate the realities of our retail environment and develop practical, long-term solutions that support our teams on the ground.

• Reporting & Analytics Support: Pull routine reports (such as headcount or leave balances) as requested by team leaders, ensuring high accuracy.

• People Projects & Presentations Support: Assist with gathering data, organizing content, and preparing engaging presentations for key team initiatives.

• Experience: 1–3 years of administrative experience (experience supporting a People, HR, or office operations team is a plus!).

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• The Ideal Mindset:

  • Meticulous: You catch the tiny errors that others miss and take pride in precise work.

  • Professional & Confidential: You understand the sensitive nature of employee data and maintain discretion at all times.

  • Warm & Approachable: You love interacting with people, working as part of a team, and creating a welcoming, supportive environment.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office; prior experience or familiarity with ADP and HRIS/employee databases is strongly preferred.

• Location: Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, MO, with occasional flexibility for multi-state team coordination.

• Positive Mindset: A true self-starter with a proactive can-do attitude and positive energy giver vibes.
