Shift: 1st shift, Monday- Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm. (overtime as needed)
Position Summary/Objective:
Our Production Operator is a key team member who helps manufacture our quality ink and pigment products. As a Production Operator, you will become an expert in multiple areas within the production team ranging from receiving and processing raw materials, to the operation of various equipment to assist with the manufacturing process, to the quality control of our products, and assisting with the customer shipments.
Essential Job Functions:
Review batch tickets. Read, understand and follow and provide samples to lab. Pack products into designated containers; labeling containers. Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities. Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposal. Forklift operation. SAP inventory. Tub washer. Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation) Participate in plant teams in addition to training others. Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers. Ingredient traceability. Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment. Combine ingredients in a designated sequence. SAP CORK duties & SAP Cycle count duties. Preliminary quality checks. Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safely. Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions. Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stay updated on all applicable procedures.

• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be computer efficient.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
