Kunes Auto Group is hiring Automotive Service Technicians to join our service team in Galesburg, Illinois.

Compensation

$25 – $35 per hour depending on experience

Full-time position with consistent work and strong service traffic

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical diagnostics
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, braking, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
• Identify repair needs and communicate recommendations to service advisors
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining dealership quality standards
• Maintain accurate service documentation

• 1+ year automotive repair experience OR automotive technical school training
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
