About This Position
Job description:
Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of Wood River has an immediate opening for a automotive journeyman technician. An automotive journeyman service technician should be familiar and capable of doing all aspects of automotive work, LOF, vehicle inspections, brakes, tires, suspension, flushes, electrical and diagnostic work etc. Previous schooling, GM automotive dealership or other repair facility technician experience would be required to be a candidate for this position. This is a union shop with the pay and benefits that come with it.
ASE automotive service technician certification required
