Social Media Manager

PureTek Corporation | Los Angeles, CA (Panorama City) | Onsite | Full-Time

About PureTek

PureTek Corporation is a Los Angeles–based developer and manufacturer of pharmaceutical-grade over-the-counter drug products, topical therapies, and dietary supplements. From our FDA-registered, GMP-compliant facilities in the San Fernando Valley, we formulate, manufacture, and package products spanning topical analgesics and dermatological treatments, oral care, prenatal and multivitamin lines, gummies, and liquid supplements — products that reach consumers through leading national retailers, pharmacies, and healthcare distributors.

Building on decades of manufacturing excellence, PureTek is now investing in its own consumer brands — including our growing Pharmapure wellness line — and in direct-to-consumer digital commerce. Social is where we intend to win, and this role is where that starts.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly creative, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Social Media Manager to build and lead PureTek’s social presence from the ground up. This is a newly created, highly visible role with genuine ownership over how PureTek shows up online, connects with customers, and grows its digital commerce business.

The ideal candidate is equal parts content creator, social strategist, trend spotter, and operator — comfortable developing concepts, filming and editing, writing copy, publishing, engaging audiences, analyzing performance, and continually experimenting with what works. A major early focus is TikTok and TikTok Shop: creating content designed to drive engagement and conversion, and establishing TikTok Shop as a meaningful sales channel for the company.

You will start as a hands-on individual contributor. As results come, you will have the opportunity — and the responsibility — to build and lead PureTek’s social media and content team.

One advantage few brands can offer: you will have rare access to the people and places behind the products — formulation scientists, quality labs, and working production lines. In a category where audiences increasingly reward transparency and real expertise, “we actually make it” is a content engine most wellness brands cannot match.
