Associate Manager, Client Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Manager, Client Services based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead client-focused consulting engagements within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries while helping organizations solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will manage strategic projects from initial concept through delivery, partnering with clients and internal teams to create impactful solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into actionable recommendations while ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to innovative healthcare initiatives, mentor junior professionals, and support the growth of consulting capabilities. This position is ideal for a collaborative, analytical leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership.

Accountabilities
  • Lead and manage client projects from planning through implementation, coordinating internal and external resources to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on objectives, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, develop strategic approaches, and deliver insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee project execution by managing workflows, facilitating team collaboration, monitoring progress, and ensuring clear communication throughout engagements.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and subject matter guidance to analysts and consultants, helping strengthen team capabilities and delivery excellence.
  • Support proposal development, project scoping, business development activities, and identification of opportunities for future client engagements.
  • Prepare client presentations, reports, and recommendations while contributing strategic insights based on pharmaceutical and healthcare industry knowledge.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive follow-up, continuous improvement, and successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Lead ad hoc initiatives and specialized workstreams related to organizational priorities, team development, and client needs.
  • Travel approximately 15–50% depending on project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, managed markets consulting, healthcare consulting, or related agency environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial strategy initiatives, managed care analytics, healthcare business solutions, or pharmaceutical market engagements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex client-facing projects.
  • Strong experience developing relationships with senior-level executives and healthcare industry leaders.
  • Ability to assess client needs, translate insights into recommendations, and support implementation of strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation, writing, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management tools and familiarity with data analysis platforms such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
  • Understanding of managed markets, healthcare contracts, business drivers, and pharmaceutical industry trends.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
