This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Automation Consultant (SaaS - Financial Services) based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise, consulting skills, and customer engagement to deliver impactful automation solutions.
You will guide financial institutions through the implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise automation platforms that simplify complex workflows.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Automation Consultant will lead customer-facing implementation and optimization projects, ensuring successful adoption of automation solutions across financial services organizations. This role combines software implementation, technical consulting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-value outcomes.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation engagements, including project scoping, environment setup, configuration, automation development, upgrades, and knowledge transfer.
  • Configure and optimize enterprise automation platforms and related modules to meet customer business requirements and operational objectives.
  • Partner with customers to understand workflow challenges, identify automation opportunities, and design solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout customer engagements, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support automation workflow development, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment across customer environments.
  • Perform platform upgrades, migrations, and implementation activities across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Product teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance during sales processes, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and customer discussions.
  • Create and maintain implementation documentation, configuration templates, project plans, and delivery best practices.
  • Share field insights with product teams to improve platform capabilities, identify issues, and support product testing.
  • Mentor and support other consultants by sharing technical knowledge, project experience, and implementation practices.
  • Continuously improve internal processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance service delivery quality.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled consultant with experience implementing SaaS solutions, improving business processes, and working directly with enterprise customers. They should be comfortable managing complex projects while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Several years of experience in software implementation, professional services, technical consulting, solutions consulting, or a related technology-focused role.
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms, enterprise automation solutions, workflow technologies, or business process optimization initiatives.
  • Strong technical knowledge across Windows, Unix/Linux, and IBM i environments.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and SQL for automation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with databases, cloud environments such as Azure, networking concepts, and security administration.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems, break them into manageable solutions, and deliver effective outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of automation principles, process improvement methodologies, and operational efficiency strategies.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across implementation, support, sales, customer success, and product teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer implementations, meetings, and team events.
